5. Anna Nicole Smith (1967 - 2007)
Poor Anna Nicole, all within a few months her daughter was born, her son died, and so did she. On February 8, 2007,
Smith was found unresponsive in room 607 at the
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Attempts to resuscitate her failed. She was pronounced dead at 2:49 PM. (Note: the Photo shown is supposedly of Anna Nicole Smith either dead or dying.)



4. Judy Garland (1922 - 1969)
Who would've thought Judy Garland, the star of the MGM classic The Wizard of Oz, would die of a drug overdose. Well she did. By early 1969, Garland's health had deteriorated. She performed in London at the
Talk of the Town nightclub for a five-week run and made her last concert appearance in Copenhagen in March 1969. She married her final husband on March 17 in London, and only a month later on June 22, she was found dead of a "self-overdosage of Barbiturates".


3. Michael Jackson (1958 - 2009)
"The King of Pop dead at 50", we all say the headlines only months ago. The news was consumed by the death of music's greatest performer. It also overshadowed another Farrah Fawcett's tragic death which occurred earlier that same day. At 12:22 PM a call was made to 911 about an unresponsive man. Nearly 51 minutes later, Jac
kson arrived at the hospital were all attempts to save his life failed. The Los Angeles County coroner ruled Jackson's death a homicide and stated that Jackson died from the combination of drugs in his body, with the most significant drugs being the anesthetic propofol and the sedative lorazepam. He personal doctor Conrad Murray is currently under investigation for his death.

2. Elvis Presley (1935 - 1977)
Actor, singer, and soldier: Elvis was awesome. However, the King of Rock and Roll was in a downward spiral most of the 1970s, battling a drug addiction, but that struggle came to an end in 1977 when Presley was found unresponsive on the floor of his suite by fiancée Ginger Alden. Attempts to revive the singer failed.
Death was officially pronounced at 3:30 pm at the Baptist Memorial Hospital.




1. Marilyn Monroe (1926 - 1962)
Marilyn Monroe, the sexiest woman and the greatest screen actress to ever live unfortunately died too early.
On August 5, 1962, LAPD police sergeant Jack Clemmons received a call at 4:25 a.m. from Dr. Ralph Greenson, Monroe's psychiatrist, proclaiming that Monroe was dead at her home in Brentwood. Many theories, including murder, circulated about the circumstances of her death and the timeline after the body was found. However, most agree that Monroe died of a drug overdose. The official cause of death is listed as "probable suicide".

  • Both Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson were days away from going on tour when they died.
